Siir: A little mermaid, inside me

A little mermaid, inside me,
skin of pearl white,
lips of coral red,
dreams of swimming
in the endless ocean depths,
relentlessly,
everyday,
from sunrise till the moon comes back...

As long as i have known me,
so fragile,
so loving,
childishly naive,
soul of a mermaid, trapped in my body.

Neither she can live in dry, human cities,
nor can she reach her endless seas..

Flips and flops, hopelessly,
a little mermaid, inside me,
skin of pearl white,
lips of coral red,
in agony...
